Skate Nottingham CIC, Forty Two Shop and Ignite Futures presents…

In summer 2019, Nottingham was the first in the UK to host a city-based festival of skate culture, with almost 700 skateboarders coming to the city to skate, film, take photographs, attend exhibitions and panel discussions, party and have fun.

And now, between the 24th of September and 3rd October 2021, with the kind support of the National Lottery Community Fund, Habito Mortgages and the UK Science Festivals Network, the Skateboarding in the City Festival is back!

Friday 1st October
Between 6pm and 8pm we will be screening all the video edits made by local and visiting skaters for the City Circuit filming competition. Watch the skate films on the big screen, vote on your favourites, and get a chance to win amazing prizes with local independent skateshop Forty Two.

This event will take place in the auditorium at Metronome. We would appreciate advance booking via the Eventbrite links provided – so we can manage numbers and take every step to keep you all safe.

Seated gigs offer disabled access within the first three rows inside the venue.
Standing gigs offer accessibility for disabled patrons in our mezzanine. We will always do our best to accommodate individual requirements, and other viewing options may be available at standing gigs following a risk assessment of the event.
