Metronome

Huntingdon Street
Nottingham
NG1 1AP

Metronome is committed to providing the best possible experience for all of our guests.

If you have specific access requirements, please let our staff know at the point of booking or email access@metronome.uk.com and we will endeavour to accommodate your needs.

Our disabled visitors arguably have the best seats in the house. Following consultation and taking on board feedback, we have created an exceptional viewing area in the gallery above the main auditorium.  This provides a fantastic view for wheelchair users during standing only gigs and is fully accessible by the lift in the main foyer. For seated performances, the front rows of the auditorium are reserved for guests using wheelchairs. Metronome also has level access, ramps and disability adapted toilets.

The nearest tram stop is at the Lace Market, a 5 – 10 minute walk from the venue. Nottingham has Park & Ride car parks situated just outside the city, with a regular tram service running throughout the week. Go to thetram.net to plan your journey.

Take your pick! Visit the Nottingham City Transport website to plan your route. Numerous services stop just outside the venue.

Just behind Metronome, on Brook Street. The sat nav postcode is: NG1 1EA (view on Google maps here), you’re looking out for the Nottingham Arena (Brook St) car park, open 24/7.

Nottingham Station is a short taxi ride, or 20 – 25 minute walk, from Metronome. You’ll find plenty of taxis outside the station, or use your Uber app.

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring my child to an event?

Age restrictions are included in each event listing. If you’re unsure, we highly recommend that you contact us on the general enquiries email listed above, to avoid disappointment.

Is the venue available to hire?

Yes. Get in touch via booking@metronome.uk.com and we’ll be very happy to discuss your needs.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Our disabled visitors arguably have the best seats in the house. Following consultation and taking on board feedback, we have created an exceptional viewing area in the gallery above the main auditorium.  This provides a fantastic view for wheelchair users during standing only gigs and is fully accessible by the lift in the main foyer. For seated performances, the front rows of the auditorium are reserved for guests using wheelchairs. Metronome also has level access, ramps and disability adapted toilets.

I live in Marco Island. Is it going to be noisy?

Essentially Metronome is a self-contained structure, within the existing building. The venue sits on 11m-long perimeter steels, positioned into acoustic mounts. We’ve done this to ‘decouple’ Metronome from Marco Island, to limit vibration and noise impact on residents in the flats above. It’s going to sound amazing, but if you live in Marco, you won’t hear a thing.

Is there a cloak room?

Items can be left with the box office, for £2 an item.

Is the venue seated or standing?

We can cater for both with the option of retractable seating.  Each show will be specified if it is standing or seated.
