Over the course of four albums, Rozi Plain’s hypnotic, gently askew songs have steadily sauntered their way from her birthplace of Winchester, reverberated through the bustling Bristol DIY scene, to where they now emanate from London’s creative epicentre. Acquiring a worldliness that’s reflected in her travels as a touring musician, each consecutive release has broached new sonic territory, whilst retaining a home-grown intimacy and a familial warmth of spirit. On ‘Prize’, her fifth long-player, out on Memphis Industries, Rozi’s unique, heart-felt approach continues to prevail, marking her as one of our most innovative and engaging songwriters. Two of the singles have featured on BBC 6 Music’s B-list and a number of sessions have been performed live for Marc Riley and Tom Ravenscroft.

Rozi has performed on festival main-stages (Glastonbury’s Park Stage, End of the Road, Green Man), and supported leading lights from the alt-folk world (Devandra Barnhart, James Yorkston, Beach House).

Since her album release, Rozi has been on tour non-stop: instore tour in January, Independent Venue Week dates and two-week French tour in February, sold out UK & Ireland headline tour in March. In April Rozi Plain will have her first taste of arena shows after being invited to support Paramore on their UK & Ireland tour and she has just announced a June UK tour.

‘Prize’ is available on LP, CD and limited edition Dinked version.
