“Although I’m hopeful for the return of live music later in 2021, the continuing lockdown measures have made touring the UK this May unfeasible. The practicalities in terms of releasing and promoting music for an independent artist can be complex, and for a multitude of reasons it’s simply not possible for me to reschedule these dates at present time. This means that, with a heavy heart, I have had to cancel the upcoming tour. Heartfelt thanks to all those people who have bought tickets, you will receive a refund from your point of purchase. I’m looking forward to touring again as soon as that’s possible, and hope to see you all then.” Michael (NZCA Lines)

NZCA LINES is the solo musical venture for multi-instrumentalist Michael Lovett, who has previously played guitar/synthesiser on Christine and the Queens’ recorded material – and has performed live as part of Metronomy.

Featuring members of Hot Chip, his previous two LP’s earned critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic and found Lovett opening for the likes of Conan Mockasin and Django Django as well as performing at Glastonbury. His latest LP ‘Pure Luxury’ was released in July and was tipped by Pitchfork and BBC 6 Music.

Pure escapism; dancefloor first-aid for dystopian times.” – Guardian
