Enjoy elevating, soulful music from trumpeter Matthew Halsall in an intimate seated setting. His luminous playing radiates a thoughtful beauty, and over 15 years and eight studio albums, he’s created his own unique sound world. He takes inspiration from the spiritual jazz of Pharoah Sanders and Alice Coltrane, and the contemporary sounds of Bonobo and The Cinematic Orchestra.

Expect spiritual, progressive, perfectly crafted, meditative jazz sounds for the21st century as Matthew and his band perform music from their forthcoming album ‘An Ever Changing View’ together with gems from his back catalogue.

Mathew Halsall on the trumpet, Matt Cliffe on the saxophone and flute, Alice Roberts on the harp, Jasper Green on the piano, Gavin Barras on the bass, Alan Taylor on the drums and Sam Bell on percussion. With special guest Chip Wickham on the saxophone and flute.
