This is your chance to see an intimate homecoming gig by Bru-C at Nottingham’s Metronome. Presented and Curated by Vicky McClure, celebrating incredible talent from the original Rebel City!
Support acts include: Jah Digga and Kingdom Rapper.
Proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to Teenage Cancer Trust.
Actress Vicky McClure has been announced as a Teenage Cancer Trust Icon.
The new Icon role at the charity is for high-profile figures across the entertainment industry who have volunteered to give a year of their time to raise funds for its vital support services for young people with cancer aged 13-24, and greater awareness of the huge challenges they face in life.
In her first act as an Icon, Vicky has launched This is Nottingham, a homage to her BAFTA winning performance in ‘This Is England’, which will take place on Saturday 3 December.
The intimate gig featuring top local talent will be headlined by city-based drum and bass artist BRU-C, fresh from his Australian and New Zealand tour.
“Nottingham is a hotbed of talent, from Oscar nominees to Olympic champions to chart toppers, so it feels right that a place with two Teenage Cancer Trust units should be hosting this incredible event.
“I’m so proud to call this city my home. Teenage Cancer Trust was founded on the understanding that young people are special which is why it is so important for this to be a celebration of young people and rising talent.” – Vicky McCLure
