Join us for a lively evening of rock, indie and alternative music to witness bands from NTU and Confetti battling it out for some incredible prizes in front of industry judges!

Show your appreciation for talented student bands from NTU and Confetti, as they take to the Metronome stage to fight it out for some amazing prizes. NTU have lined up a panel of industry experts to judge the contest, with the following up for grabs:

  • A spot on the Confetti Stage at Splendour Festival 2022
  • A day-long recording session in Metronome’s Studio 1
  • An A&R meeting with a music industry professional

As an audience member you won’t be left out either – with drink giveaways, free pizza and drinks offers running through the night. We’ve also got prizes for gig tickets, signed copies of vinyls and more!

If you’re a current NTU or Confetti student band and would like to join the battle or NTU Music’s Band Development Programme, email tom.bates@ntu.ac.uk or call the Music Centre to find out more.

Entry is free but you must pre-book a ticket.

Seated gigs offer disabled access within the first three rows inside the venue.
Standing gigs offer accessibility for disabled patrons in our mezzanine. We will always do our best to accommodate individual requirements, and other viewing options may be available at standing gigs following a risk assessment of the event.
