JayaHadADream is hitting the road for her ‘JayaHadAUKTour’ as momentum builds around her new single Bug and forthcoming debut full-length project Happiness From Agony (out on 24 October 2025). The 11-track mixtape dives into the contradictions of risking success, weaving through hip-hop, grime, garage, and more.

One of UK rap’s most compelling new voices, Jaya brings a unique background — born in Cambridge, she honed her craft in Nottingham, and left a teaching career to pursue music full-time. Her style fuses poetic storytelling with lived experiences, exploring themes of struggle, mental health, self-love, and ambition.

Her rise has been fuelled by standout moments including her breakout single Twiggy winning the 2024 Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition, and shutting down stages at Reading, Leeds, and Boomtown.

Jaya’s drawn support from the likes of Stormzy, Ghetts, Mick Jenkins, Daniel Bedingfield, and Joy Crookes. Her momentum accelerated during summer 2025 following performances with Chip, Flirta D, and Bruza, trading bars with Frisco, JME and Flowdan on Owe Me One, and rapping live at Skepta and Timberland’s collaboration event on a grime set powered by Balamii.

With singles like Nothing’s Changed, The Bank, and Main Characters (ft. Big Zuu) already setting the stage, the JayaHadAUKTour promises to be the raw, unmissable live extension of her debut project. Expect high-energy performances, heartfelt storytelling — and plenty of surprises, with support acts and special guests announced soon.
