Notts based label eNGine Room showcases some of the best new music acts from Nottinghamshire in this annual event.

Hosted by Dean Jackson (BBC Introducing in the East Midlands) and promoting the acts that are making waves locally and nationally. eNGine Room is supported by Inspire Youth Arts and funded by Arts Council England.

Line-up
Ellie Stainsby
The ethereal singer-song writer and pianist is from Nottingham. Her acoustic-folky sound resonates with all listeners, allowing each person to interpret her poetic lyrics in their own way.

Betsey
With a voice described as “beyond her years”, Betsey’s big, powerhouse vocals leave everyone feeling emotionally moved. Crowned as Future sound of Nottingham 2023, Betsey is one to watch. Her empowering aura is unforgettable and shines through her music through her great storytelling and raw, jazzy tone similar to Etta James and Amy Winehouse.

Alfie Sharp
He has a voice that is described as one that carries a small piece of every artist you’ve ever heard, but with an original twist. Fusing colourful melodies with frank lyrics, his style is described as genre-fluid and creativity is at the forefront of all Alfie does.

Stan Buckroyd
The Nottingham and Manchester based artist is making himself heard in the UK indie scene. The 20 year old is proudly still an independent artist who puts copious amount of time into his lyrics, delivering deep and meaningful narratives of what’s going on inside his confusing mind.

Jude

ALT BLK Era (Guest appearance Feat. Jess Fisher)
Meet the teenage sister duo, Nyrobi and Chaya from the UK, who break the rules by reaching outside of traditional expectations. The girls clash the worlds of Metal, Rap, Punk, Rock and Electronic sounds, empowering the ‘freaks’ and the ‘misfits’ along the way.

Accessibility
Standing gigs offer accessibility for disabled patrons in our mezzanine. We will always do our best to accommodate individual requirements, and other viewing options may be available at standing gigs following a risk assessment of the event.
