An event focused on Creativity for Social and Environmental impact. Empowering & inspiring TEDx style talk. Building a fairer, healthier, more sustainable and regenerative world, through the power of creative thinking – city by city and community by community.

Who’s this for?

Business professionals, members of the community, educators, students, graduates and all those open to learn, to be inspired, empowered and to take positive action in building better.

Agenda:

Creative thinking for Social Change & Environmental impact.

Creative industry experts and change makers, from local communities and beyond, will discuss and celebrate the power of creative thinking to solve social and environmental challenges. Expect to see numerous successful initiatives that have achieved outstanding local and global impact.

Penney Poyzer – The ‘Queen of Green’

Wolfgang Buttress – Award winning artist who’s multi-sensory artworks draw inspiration from our relationship with the ‘natural’ world. He explores scientific discoveries by collaborating with architects, scientists and musicians to create human-centered experiences.

Raoul Shah – The Chair, Founder and Joint CEO of Exposure, a creative communications agency. In 2017, Creative Review listed him amongst the Top 50 Creative Leaders in the UK.

Ayan Said –  Spoken word artist and the founder of Voicing Voices

John Brown – Founder of Don’t Cry Wolf, the creative agency with activism at heart

Nick Ebbs – NTU’s Member of the Board of Governors, former vice chair of igloo Regeneration Ltd, a chartered surveyor & an advocate for Sustainability in the Built Environment. Honorary Professor of Sustainable Development at UoN’s School of Architecture and a Deputy Lieutenant.

Nicky Kaur – Co-founder of the multi award winning film series TryLife & tutor of interactive film making at the School for Cinematic Arts at USC.

Wingshan Smith / Chaos Magic – Artist-led project space based in Nottingham
