Vundabar and Yot Club are crossing the Atlantic to bring two distinct shades of indie brilliance to Metronome.

Boston’s Vundabar deliver a sharp, off‑kilter blend of indie rock, post‑punk revival, and jangly surf‑leaning hooks. Known for their viral hit Alien Blues and a catalogue that swings from gritty to melodic, they’ve built a reputation for high‑energy, tightly wound live shows that feel both cathartic and unpredictable. Their sound is equal parts angular riffs, wry lyricism, and restless momentum.

Mississippi‑born Yot Club (John Ryan Kaiser) brings a dreamy, lo‑fi, nostalgia‑soaked palette that blends indie pop, bedroom pop, and surfy synth textures. Best known for YKWIM?, his songs drift between hazy melancholy and sun‑bleached warmth, capturing the feeling of small‑town longing and late‑night introspection. Expect woozy guitars, soft‑focus beats, and melodies that linger long after the last note.
