Bridie Squires

Writer, performer and educator from Nottingham. Bridie Squires is editor-at-large of LeftLion Magazine and was Nottingham Trent University’s first Writer in Residence in 2019. She is also Lead Artist at GOBS Collective – a spoken-word programme for emerging artists. Bridie has performed in London’s Southbank Centre, Karlsruhe’s Staatstheatre, Nottingham Playhouse, and countless venues around the Midlands. In 2019, Bridie was funded by Arts Council England to develop a full-length, one-woman performance: Casino Zero.

Henry Normal

Henry is a writer, poet and TV and Film producer and co-founder of the Nottingham Poetry Festival. In  2017 he was honoured with a special BAFTA for services to Television. Henry has 9 poetry collections in print and has a regular show on BBC Radio 4.

Idiosyncratic and effortlessly funny – Radio Times

Bittersweet poetry with a sublimely observant wit – Guardian

He was recently given a honorary doctorate of letters by Nottingham Trent University, another by University of Nottingham, and has had a beer and a bus named after him in Nottingham!
