Over the next two months, we have three exciting Rough Trade events that we’ll be hosting including Mura Masa, Twin Atlantic and Oh Wonder.
The first of the Rough Trade out store events that we’ll be hosting will be Mura Masa on Friday 17 January. The evening will celebrate the release of ‘R.Y.C (Raw Youth Collage)‘, the incredible new album released 17 January via Polydor. Introduced by latest single ‘I Don’t Think I Can Do This Again’ (with Clairo), ‘R.Y.C (Raw Youth Collage)’ is also previewed by the anthemic new track ‘No Hope Generation’, which is available immediately when pre-ordering the album.
Following Mura Masa will be the album launch for Twin Atlantic‘s ‘Power’ on Monday 27 January. After ten years, Twin Atlantic got their Glasgow studio fully up-and-running. They gigged for thrills, and used the money to fund the album they wanted to make. They took charge of production. And only then, when all that was done and dusted, did they sign a new record deal.
Oh Wonder will be taking over Metronome on Wednesday 12 February to celebrate the launch of new album, ‘No One Else Can Wear Your Crown’. The album will be released 7 February 2020 and will include first single ‘Hallelujah’ and more recent follow-up ‘Better Now’. Oh Wonder have also shared a brand new track from the album, ‘I Wish I Never Met You’ which is available to stream now.
If you’d like to discover something unique at Metronome, we have plenty more events coming up.
