*POSTPONED* – Unfortunately, this event has been postponed in response to the COVID-19 crisis

A message from the event organisers:

‘In light of the recent events and having spoken to the venues, artists and funders – we have come to a consensus that the best course of action is to cancel the AV event this Friday. Ultimately we feel that that the current environment would not be conducive to the atmosphere we would like to create. We don’t want the ticket buyers to feel uncomfortable and unsure about attending, therefore we will postpone this event until a time which permits a calm, relaxed and safe environment for us to all be together. We hope to see this as an opportunity to eventually put on an even better show for both the public and performers, when the time is right.

Thank you to everyone who has bought tickets and supported us with this event so far. We have been in contact with Resident Advisor who have informed us that they are creating a new ticket refunding tool in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This tool will allow anyone to refund their ticket directly through their RA order page –
up to 14 days after the event – or you may choose to keep the ticket which would be valid for the rescheduled date. This tool will be released on Friday 20th March – we will post again when it’s live and let you know how it works.

*** IMPORTANT ***

You are now able to process your refund for your tickets using the new self-serve refund tool, developed by Resident Advisor in response to the postponed events caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. If you choose not to refund your ticket, it will be valid for the rescheduled date.

Here is the instruction from Resident Advisor:

‘If you would like a refund please head to the order in your order history and click “Refund Tickets”
Your refund will be processed back into the account used to purchase your tickets. Refunds can take up to 5 working days to land in your account.’

If you want to read more about Resident Advisor’s reasoning being creating this tool, please see their statement here: https://www.residentadvisor.net/news/72256.

If you have any questions which are not answered in this statement – don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

We’re currently drawing up plans for the new rescheduled event and will be in touch when we have more details on this. We’re also looking at ways to use this down-time productively, so we can bring you better and more varied AV experiences.

You have 14 days after the date of the event to receive your refund (until 3rd April), however if you decide to retain your ticket but can’t attend the new date when it’s announced – you may either put your ticket on RA resale, or RA have informed me that they will still honour a refund.

Hope you’re all doing okay out there.

Much love,
Multimodal x

Multimodal presents a one-off audio-visual journey from ambient tones, through rhythmic melodies to an expansive crescendo.

From the sold-out four-wall projection in the One Thoresby Street Attic to the AV quadraphonic dome with Wigflex & Craig Richards, Multimodal creates bespoke, conceptual and visually immersive experiences.

For this event, a hand-picked selection of artists will be taking you from the ambient, tonal soundscape of Simone Salvatici into the minimalist synthesiser compositions of Will Plowman, to a crescendo with a brand-new AV performance from artists, Throwing Snow and Matt Woodham. The evening will conclude with a new phase conducted by the masterful hands of Lukas Wigflex, winding through experimental, ambient and beat-driven dance.

Seated gigs offer disabled access within the first three rows inside the venue.
Standing gigs offer accessibility for disabled patrons in our mezzanine. We will always do our best to accommodate individual requirements, and other viewing options may be available at standing gigs following a risk assessment of the event.

If you have any particular requirements or queries, please email us ahead of the event at [email protected].
