We’re delighted to announce that Metronome won the Welcoming Team Impact Award at the Attitude is Everything Charter Awards!
Attitude is Everything connects disabled people with music and live event industries to improve access together. On Thursday 13 February 2025, they held a celebratory event to launch a new online Live Events Access Charter, which included an award show. The four brand new Live Events Access Charter Awards celebrated innovation, creativity, and commitment to making live events more inclusive.
The Welcoming Team Impact Award recognises how the staff at our Nottingham venue go above and beyond to ensure all customers are welcome, and also support upcoming artists and students with hands-on experience. Our promoter, Kristi Maria attended the event and accepted the award on behalf of Metronome.
Metronome has been designed with disabled access in mind, offering equal opportunity to all visitors. We have been working closely with Attitude is Everything for the past few years, and were incredibly proud to have been awarded with a Bronze Standard accreditation in 2023. Interim Head of Live Events Access, Alex Covell said:
“Metronome is based in Nottingham and joined the Charter in 2023. This team goes above and beyond to make every event welcoming and inclusive. With a real local focus, they support emerging artists and provide hands-on learning for students. Their dedication ensures all customers, including disabled attendees, can fully experience these fantastic events in a venue designed with accessibility at its core.”
Our commitment to ensuring our venue is accessible for everyone will continue, and we’re working hard to ensure our London venue offers the same accessibility.
