Part of the Sol Sistema Festival.

A longtime member of the Grammy-winning Jamiroquai, Sola has been integral to the Jamiroquai sound – producing the groove chemistry that has rocked the last seven albums.

He has recently been honoured with his second consecutive BMI Award for Best Film & TV Score for his work on Warner Bros US hit comedy series, Bob Hearts Abishola, which continues to captivate audiences, drawing over 5 million viewers for its latest season.

Sola’s music has reached millions worldwide—Sola’s music has been in households the world over, even if his name hasn’t been on everyone’s lips.

Born in Yorubaland, Nigeria, and raised in London, Sola’s sound is a rich fusion of deep cultural heritage and the UK’s vibrant, eclectic music scene.

Having shared the stage with legends like Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, and David Bowie, Sola released the first half of his new album “HOW SHOULD I” in October 2024, and due to release part two in May, he is set to bring an electrifying performance to Metronome!

Sol Sistema is a multimedia festival in Whitechapel running from Tuesday 13th to Friday 16th May, hosted at the Nottingham School of Art & Design’s London campus, including its state-of-the-art Metronome venue. This ticket also gives access to Industry conneX on Wednesday 14th where award-winning creative producers in audio and video showcase their work, alongside the most innovative companies, developing the hardware and software that power the creative industries, demonstrating their latest products.
