RHYMES AGAINST HUMANITY – The Improvised Musical

Following sell-out shows in February at Leicester Comedy Festival and Nottingham Playhouse, Rhymes Against Humanity are back with another improvised musical.

Most musicals take years to write and bring to the stage, however Rhymes Against Humanity will take a title from an audience member and use it to create a brand new musical theatre piece on the spot. Everything is improvised – the scenes, the songs and even the choreography.

When you arrive you will be given a special “title sheet” to write down the name of the brand new musical you would like to see. If your suggestion is pulled out it might be the one the audience chooses to see as a fully improvised musical.

“The group’s timing, imagination, quick wit and speedy reactions are perfection” Behind The Arras

“From the first notes of the opening number we have characters, songs, music and dance that delight the audience lucky enough to see this unique performance. It really is a treat.” MidlandsImprov.com

Rhymes Against Humanity is the Midlands’ highly acclaimed improvised musical. No scripts, no pre-prepared tunes.  Just a non-stop joyride of musical hilarity that’s all being created in the moment. This is improvised comedy at its most thrilling.

Doors: 7.30pm

First act: 8.00pm

Interval: 8.40pm

Second act: 9pm – 10pm

Seated gigs offer disabled access within the first three rows inside the venue.
