Workshop – Music industry experts advise you on how to get funding (yes, free money) for your music. For free.

Featuring Bru-C – MC, founder of Krudd Events, and recipient of funding. Sharing his wisdom on funding, hustling, and supporting your music.
+ More speakers TBA.

Advice fair – Like a freshers fair, loads of ‘musician helping’ organisations for you to meet and get advice from, eg. how they can help you. Panel chaired by Mark Del from Nusic.

The Workshop will take its usual public Q&A format aiming to help Nottingham musicians acquire the knowledge, skills and contacts they need to get to where ever they want to go with their music. The Workshop will focus on advice on what you should, and shouldn’t do, to be successful with your funding bids.

Alongside this, before and after, we will also run the Nusic Advice Fair offering you the chance to get free informal one on one expert advice. Previous entities have included…

– Arts Council England
– BBC Introducing
– Confetti
– County Youth Arts
– Creative Quarter
– DHP Local Team
– Forever Records
– LeftLion
– Musicians Union
– Nottingham Music Hub
– Nusic
– PRS for Music
– PRS For Music Foundation
– Rough Trade Nottingham
– The Maze
– Young Creative Awards

Full confirmed lineup coming soon.

This is a free ticketed event. Most of the Workshops sell out (in a free way) in advance so please register ASAP to make sure you get a place.

Seated gigs offer disabled access within the first three rows inside the venue.
Standing gigs offer accessibility for disabled patrons in our mezzanine. We will always do our best to accommodate individual requirements, and other viewing options may be available at standing gigs following a risk assessment of the event.
