The Nintendo Nottingham was founded in April 2013. Back then they were known as StreetPass East Midlands. It was a way to connect people using the StreetPass function on the console and their first meet involved just eight people playing Mario Kart 7 all day.

From there they grew, exponentially, into the amazing group of over 900 members now. From a small start, they are now one of the biggest Nintendo focused meet-up groups in the UK.

With backing from Nintendo UK and the support of the Nintendo Players UK Network, they now host huge events, hosting tournaments, mega raffles, art challenges etc.

As well as being a great place to make new friendships, they have also done a lot for charity, raising over £1500 for their nominated charity, Special Effect. All backgrounds are welcome.  All you need to have is a big love for all things Nintendo.

If you want to know more, search for the group, Nintendo Nottingham, on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
