Nottingham Poetry Festival Presents…

Nottingham Poetry Festivals’ debut panel event, ‘In Defence of Poetry’, hosted by John Berkavitch, Associate Producer at Apples and Snakes.

2020 has brought numerous challenges, not least for the arts, and with poetry being suggested as ‘optional’ for GCSE students as of 2021, we know how important it is to highlight what poetry has, is, and will do. Not just for education, but for our vast societal and cultural understanding.

Please join us in welcoming Panya Banjoko, Jess Tickell, Casey Bailey, Keith Jarrett and Grace Balchin to discuss.
