Q&A and Production Workshop with Iglooghost
Signed to Flying Lotus’ label Brainfeeder at 18 years old and praised by Pitchfork and MixMag Iglooghost’s music has impressed so much that Flying Lotus called him the next Aphex Twin.
“The alias of Seamus Malliagh has quickly established himself as one of the most innovative electronic producers of the generation with his outlandish blend of footwork, IDM, hip-hop, bass, two-step within the bizarre cartoon universe in which his stories unfold.” XLR8R
Releasing two EP’s Clear Tamei and Steel Mogu in August 2018 Iglooghost demonstrated a range of influences from ‘hyperspeed trance-influenced synths contorting around mutating 808s’ to ‘lavish string quartets’. Conceptually the EP’s are essentially a soundtrack to the creation of a cartoon fantasy set in Mamu.
From performing in Japan to taking part in production workshops for Boiler Room this is your chance to learn from the young acclaimed producer in a special Q&A and workshop.
