Rapper, producer, firestarter. Songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, raconteur… Dizraeli is a genre of his own. From his cult debut album ‘Engurland / City Shanties’ to the explosive new LP ‘Joy Machine’ with its visionary mixture of hip-hop, post-punk and jazz, Diz has always forged his own way.

A former resident of the legendary Total Refreshment Centre, Dizraeli’s new album Joy Machine was recorded there in a single day, bringing together some of the most exciting musicians in London’s jazz explosion.

With features from Alabaster Deplume and trumpeter Jonathon Enser (Nubiyan Twist), drums from Ben Brown (Alfa Mist, Mulatu Astatke), bass from uk jazz scene favourite Daisy George, synths from Joseph Costi (Yusef Cat Stevens) and saxophone from free jazzer Ronan Perrett, Joy Machine has already made waves since its release on Def Pressé this summer, including Bandcamp Album Of The Day, 4 stars from Mojo and repeated support from Gilles Peterson.

The album tour hit 15 UK cities and festivals including Boomtown, Boardmasters, WOMAD and Shambala, cementing Dizraeli’s reputation as an explosive and masterful live performer with backing from Ben Brown, Ronan Perrett and Snazzback’s Rich Allen on bass.

PremRock is a tireless worker. Just last year, as half of ShrapKnel, they dropped their best album to date, and Prem linked back up with Willie Green for an EP. But when it comes to PremRock solo albums, they are always deeply personal, beautifully crafted and lyrically rich labours of love.

His new album is no different. It has been almost four years since 2021’s Load Bearing Crow’s Feet and Backwoodz is happy to announce PremRock’s upcoming LP Did You Enjoy Your Time Here…? It’s an immersive, knotty listen and arguably his best work. Right on time. Prem is primed for a dynamic string of live international dates showcasing the record this Spring and beyond.

Freddy Forbidden, previously known as Fred Jones , is an artist from Newham, East London. His music fuses raw grime patterns with classic rock melodies, creatively arranged over heavy-hitting punk and nostalgic bedroom pop influences. Since his debut project Freddy has played in notable venues such as ICA London, Scala, Southbank Centre, Oslo Hackney and has sold out his own headline shows.
