Cara Dudgeon, a professional vocalist from Nottingham, brings you an evening of songs from the musicals, as a farewell performance before she heads to America to play Sandy in Grease for the next year!

Cara trained at The Television Workshop and The London School of Musical Theatre. She has worked across the world as a vocalist, having recently returned from Dubai, and before that, Australia, New Zealand and The South Pacific Islands, as well as China, Japan, Hong Kong and South Korea. Cara regularly plays Principal Girl during the Christmas Pantomime season, most recently as Cinderella in Canterbury at The Marlowe Theatre with Evolution Productions. She received a nomination for Best Principal Girl at the Great British Pantomime Awards in 2017 and 2018.

Cara has enjoyed contracts as Lead Vocalist for Somewhere In Time (UK Tour) with Ian Waite and Natalie Lowe from BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, and the UK Tour of Backlash Ballroom. She also regularly records female vocals for children’s songs and nursery rhymes.

In between performing contracts, Cara teaches private singing lessons, as well as running Colwick Community Choir and Singstarz; a children’s choir based in Lady Bay. She is thrilled that these students will be supporting her and performing a few songs of their own during the evening.
