BBC Introducing, Confetti and Metronome partner up for a special gig. The acts will be filmed live, as Andy Rogers the senior producer for Live Music at BBC Radio 1, will be at the event mixing it all. It will be then be broadcast on the radio.

The best local music will be showcased, hand picked by BBC Introducing and Confetti.

This edition features Don’t Forget Rupert, Soft Girls and Boys Club,  Nactus Kunan and BRIA.

 

BRIA: A country pop singer/songwriter from Derbyshire, UK. Combining traditional country roots with catchy pop melodies, she tells stories of love, loss and friendship. Since starting out in 2017, BRIA has already made her debut at Splendour and has recently worked with producer Gareth Jones on her upcoming single which is set to be released in June 2019.

Nactus Kunan: Drawing from a diverse range of influences including George Michael, Primal Scream, The Blue Nile and Sade, Nactus Kunan combine heavy synths, luscious strings and electronic beats to create their own unique sound. In 2018, Nactus were featured on Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’, ‘Hot New Bands’ and ‘Transistor’ playlists, as well as receiving national radio airtime from John Kennedy on Radio X. The band also built a strong live following in their breakout year, aided by prominent support slots for touring artists such as Hinds and Spector.

Don’t Forget Rupert: A 4 piece alternative rock band, Don’t Forget Rupert’s infectious energy and catchy hooks have every crowd dancing and singing along from the first song. A band that seriously knows how to command a stage and have fun whilst doing it – the enjoyment they get from their music shows in their eccentric yet captivating performance.
