Stone Soup Academy Presents Stand Up to Knife Crime 2023.

Join us for a night of music, film and spoken word. Come together to raise awareness and change perceptions of knife crime in our community. #SU2KC2023

Order a FREE ticket to a showcase of Nottingham talent including rappers, songwriters, spoken word artists, guest speakers and talented students from Stone Soup Academy. Attendees for this event need to be 15 and older.

We will be creating opportunities, telling stories, changing minds, talking openly and hearing honest perspectives and helping to raise the issues and perceptions of knife crime in our shared communities. Join us in supporting students and the families that are affected by the many issues that arise from knife crime.

The evening will challenge perceptions and highlight the impact upon families when a knife crime attack happens. We all see the ripple effect it can cause within the community, from which many people never recover.

On the night we will be showcasing some of the work that we have been doing throughout the year including our partnership work with Ideagen around the development of an app concept from one of our year 11 students which helps the local community locate and use bleed kits.

On the evening their will be Live performances by:
Joel Baker
Lyvia
Shanice Forster
Charnz
Omari Marsalis
DJ Janelle
Stone Soup students

Guest Speaker:
Ciaran Thapar – A writer, author, and social worker who brings all of those things together to create meaningful change.
